Wood County to host Behavioral Health Art Show
The Wood County Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services Board (WCADAMHS) will be hosting a Behavioral Health Art Show on May 24 from 11-3 p.m. at the Wood County Museum, 13660 County Home Road, to highlight physical artwork, poetry, and music performed by individuals living with mental illness and/or substance use disorder.

Drive a Bus Day in Perrysburg
PERRYSBURG — Perrysburg Schools Transportation has announced the first ever Drive a Bus Day. Citizens without a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) will have the opportunity to test drive a bus in a closed lot with the assistance of a trained bus driver. This event will take place on March 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Perrysburg High School, 13385 Roachton Road.

I overheard a conversation, “It’s Stinkbug time, another three months of Stinkbugs!” I must admit that the conversation was correct. The Brown Marmorated Stinkbug (Halyomorpha halys) is notorious for invading homes in the fall and the spring along with Boxelder Bugs (Boisea trivittatus); Western Conifer Seed Bugs (Leptoglossus occidentalis); and Multicolored Asian Lady Beetles (Harmonia axyridis).

Star light, star bright
On Wednesday, the Imagination Station brought its Star Lab to St. Aloysius Catholic School. This inflatable planetarium fit 30 students at a time and was visited by students preschool-eighth grade to help educate them on the upcoming eclipse. In these two photos, members of the second-grade class watched a simulated solar eclipse.
