Jerrad Main bowled a 243 and 185 to lead Bowling Green boys team to a 2,525-2,495 Northern Lakes League win against Anthony Wayne at Al-Mar Lanes Thursday. All five Bobcats had at least one 200 game.

Miguel Lorenzen bowled a 212 and 167, Lucas Lilly bowled 179 and 221, Cyrus Higham bowled 152 and 224, and Aidan Peper bowled a 203 and 176.

For AW, Ian Gill bowled 223 and 224, Luke Bethel bowled a 211 and 149, Kaleb Modlin bowled 225 and 204, Ethan Crosby bowled 203 and 190, Nick Bond bowled a 190, and Ronald Bischoff bowled a 150 game.

BG Baker scores were 221, 162 and 180, and AW Baker games were 198, 156, and 172.

BG also downed AW in the girls match, 1,626-1,491, as Haley Roberts bowled a 101 and match-high 204.

For the Bobcats, Maya Beagle bowled 130 and 113, Delanie Jarvi bowled 132 and 96, Ali Murphy bowled 132 and 164, and Addison Nickey bowled 104.

For the Generals, Christine Osbourne bowled 156 and 147, Marissa Noaker bowled 153 and 154, Julie French scored an 80, Carol Beck scored 115 and 100, Emma Rinto scored 127 and 102, and Zoe Hamblin scored a 37.

BG Baker games were 105, 111 and 107, and AW Baker scores were 78, 114 and 148.

Rossford downs Defiance, falls to Maumee

DEFIANCE — The Rossford boys bowling team defeated Defiance 2,674-2,444 at C&H Lanes on Thursday as Quintan Borden bowled a 196 and 237 for the Bulldogs and Trevor Wayne bowled a 204 and 226.

The Bulldogs lost to Maumee, 2,348-2,322, atTimbers on Tuesday as Owen Hill bowled a 202 and 231 and Ethan Jones bowled a 191 and 207 for the Bulldogs. Rossford is 7-3 on the season.

In the girls match Thursday, host Defiance defeated Rossford, 2,118-2,033. For the Bulldogs, Kaitlyn Dewey bowled a 224 and 180, and Madeline Logan bowled a 142 and 131. The Rossford girls are 4-4.

Perrysburg 84, Sylvania Northview 0

SYLVANIA — In Northern Lakes League wrestling Thursday, Perrysburg (18-3 overall in dual matches, 3-0 NLL) won 13 of 14 matches by fall, with Yellow Jackets winning the 113-pound match by forfeit.

At 106 pounds, Ayden Dodd pinned Brenden Hebner in 2:37; at 120, Chris Carpenter pinned D.J. Adams in 1:07; and at 126, Ryan Avalos pinned Raymond Garcia in 59 seconds.

At 132, Cole Evans pinned Victor Ford in 1:15; at 138, Diego Chavez pinned Preston Gehring in 58 seconds; and at 144, Beckett Walters had a near fall and takedown midway through the second period to get close to technical fall, leading 15-2, but pinned Marcus Kuhlman in 3:05.

At 150, A.J. Parish pinned Zach Mitchell in 1:08; at 157, Shane Sayto pinned Dawson Cross in 40 seconds; and at 165, Jake Wood pinned John Humason in 1:45.

At 175, Nick Hartzell pinned Vincent Kuhlman in 2:52; at 190, Myles Takats pinned Conor Adams in 1:36; at 215, Caiden Nichols pinned Jayden Barrett in 1:24; and at 285, Andrew Boden pinned Caron Rowdy in 1:53.

Ranked NBC wrestlers

In Northern Buckeye Conference wrestling Wednesday, Eastwood defeated Fostoria, 33-12; Elmwood defeated Otsego, 36-32; Genoa defeated Rossford, 65-9; and Woodmore defeated Lake, 47-15.

Fifteen NBC wrestlers are ranked in the state, according to www.boranfanohio.net. Fostoria’s James Simms (150) is ranked eight and Rossford’s Ayden Wilson (157) is ranked 21st, both in Division II.

In D-III, Genoa’s Scott Fuller (106) is ranked second, Otsego’s Trevor Wilcox (120) is ranked fifth, Genoa’s Noah Tipton (126) is ranked 23rd and Lake wrestler Vince Barton (126) is ranked 26th.

At 138, Otsego’s Joey Manley is ranked ninth, Elmwood’s Wyatt Ziegler (144) is ranked 24th, and Woodmore’s Garrett Geldine (144) is ranked 25th

Otsego’s Lee Border (150) is ranked eighth, Woodmore’s Jack Caldwell (165) is ranked 15th, Elmwood’s Cannon Endicott (175) is ranked fifth, Elmwood’s Mason Oliver (190) is ranked fifth, Woodmore’s Eli Wolph (190) is ranked 18th, and Genoa’s Ethan Crawford (215) is 15th.

Northwood 51, Toledo Emmanuel Christian 16

NORTHWOOD — All 12 members of the Northwood girls basketball roster scored, led by Autumn Schroeder’s 11 points, as Northwood defeated Emmanuel Christian, 51-16, in a Toledo Area Athletic Conference game Thursday.

For the Rangers, Zoe Turner scored nine, E.B. Wauford scored seven, Natalie Thompson and Bree Bolden scored six apiece, and Regan Grant scored four points.

Lexi Haas, Lea Wauford, and Mikayla Hanely scored two points apiece and Carissa Davise and Kadience Karmol added one point each for the Rangers.

Northwood opened on a 27-4 first quarter run as eight different Rangers already got into the scoring column.
