The center has also been the strongest contributor on Bowling Green’s power play unit, tallying a team-best 14 power play points. The Falcons rank second in the conference and sixth in the country in power play percentage (25.7%), while leading the conference and ranking third nationally in power play goals (27).

He has a plus/minus rating of +8 on the season, ranking second on the team and tying for third in the CCHA. Through 61 career games, Swankler has 23 goals and 39 assists for 62 points.

Swankler is currently pursuing a degree in Sport Management and maintains a 3.54 cumulative GPA. Last season, he was named to the CCHA All-Academic Team.
