Norman D. Johnson, 87, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Wood Haven Health
Care in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Norman was born on April 21, 1927 to the late Howard and Ester (Lundy) Johnson.
He married Mary (Coller) Johnson, on September 21, 1950 in Bowling Green, Ohio and she preceded him in
death on May 2, 2013.
Norman is survived by his daughter: Marilyn (Tim) Fogle, of Tennessee; sons: Richard (Becky) Johnson, of
Bowling Green, Ohio and Brent Johnson, of Maryland; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents and wife, Norman was preceded in death by a son, Douglas.
Norman was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Bowling Green, Ohio and a graduate of Bowling
Green High School.
Norman served his country proud in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Norman was a supervisor for Seaway Food Town Supermarkets until his retirement in 1987.
Norman and his late wife Mary shared a passion for their children and grandchildren. They also enjoyed
antique coin-op and slot machines.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME
& CREMATORY REMEMBRANCE CHAPEL, 1460 W. Wooster Street/P.O. Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402,

Interment will be private for the family.
