Megan Lockhart Barton and Micah Andrew Wingate were united in marriage April 25 at Community Presbyterian
Church, Waterford, Mich.
Dr. Thomas Hartley led the 2 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dale and Gayle Barton, Waterford. The groom is the son of Greg and Jeanne
Wingate, Pearl Street, Bowling Green.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless A-line satin gown with a chiffon split front,
metallic embroidery and a chapel train. Her two-tier fingertip veil featured classic lines.
Tina Bourque, Davisburg, Mich., and the bride’s sister, Erin Barton, East Lansing, Mich., were maids of
honor.
Bridesmaids were Allison Mills, Bowling Green; Angie Seiple, Toledo; and Ashleah Hargrove, Lake Orion,
Mich. The attendants all wore tea-length dresses of pale sage green.
Brooke Beckholt, Macomb, Mich., was the flower girl. She wore a pale pink dress with pink pearls
accenting the bodice.
The ring bearer was the groom’s cousin, Drew Thomas of Bowling Green.
Joshua Wingate, Maumee, served as best man for his brother.
Ushers were Andy Thomas and the groom’s brother-in-law, Brandon Mills, both of Bowling Green; Rob
Blausey, Toledo; Mike Bindig, Orion; and the bride’s cousins, Christopher Kenney, Aspen, Colo., and
Patrick Kenney, Rochester Hills, Mich.
Musicians for the ceremony were Eric Johnson, organist, and Rob Mills, soloist and guitarist.
A reception was held at White Lake Oaks in White Lake Mich., with music furnished by DJ Mary Ann Ross.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii, at Kailua and Kona. They will make their home at 4820 Fox Creek East
No. 130, Clarkston, Mich. 48346.
The bride graduated from Waterford Mott High School in 2003 and from Kirtland Community College in 2009.
She is employed by Schafer Chiropractic Life Center.
The groom graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1999 and is employed by Allied Excavating.
