| County editor Jan Larson sent me out to photograph Wood County inmates collecting trash along county roads. The tough economy has started to hit the Shefiff’s budget. We have photographed Deputy Tom Otley’s crew before so he was no stranger to us paying him a visit while his crew was working. A quick hand shake with Deputy Otley and agreement that I would not photograph any of the inmate’s faces I was off to work along Roundhead road. While I was making small talk with the inmates one commented to me that being outside in the fresh air was the highlight of his day. Another inmate wondered out loud if i had left my keys in my car. |
