Library offers family concert with award-winning author/musician

Celebrate the Wood County District Public Library’s 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Reading Challenge with a family concert from bestselling children’s author and musician Eric Litwin.

This fun, interactive concert will be on June 15 at 10:30 a.m. in the Bowling Green library atrium.

Litwin is a song-singing, guitar-strumming, #1 New York Times bestselling, award-winning author who brings early literacy, music, and positivity together. He is the original author of the “Pete the Cat” series as well as the author of “The Nuts,” “Groovy Joe,” and “The Poop Song.”

Litwin’s books have sold over 13 million copies, been translated into 17 languages and won 26 literacy awards including a Theodor Geisel Seuss Honor Award.

The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program is supported by a gift from Pam and Ken Frisch.
