Man found hiding in the bushes arrested for disorderly conduct

On Sunday around 2:21 a.m., Bowling Green police located a male behind the 320 block on North Summit Street, hiding in the bushes of the court parking lot.

The subject popped his head out of the top of the bushes and then went back under the bushes, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

Officers found the male lying flat on his stomach. When the subject noticed the officers approaching him, he attempted to run away, according to the report.

The subject jumped over a fence of a nearby residence, breaking pieces of the fence off in the process, before he was apprehended.

Eric Sigler, 21, Grand Junction, was cited for disorderly conduct/intoxicated-unable to care for self, obstructing official business, and criminal trespass. Sigler was taken to jail.
