Start summer reading with free books from WBGU-PBS

Families can celebrate summer reading with WBGU-PBS at the Wood County District Public Library. WBGU-PBS will be giving away books and activities on Thursday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Bowling Green library Children’s Place.

Kids can kick off their summer reading for WCDPL’s Summer Reading Program: Adventure Begins at Your Library with these free activities, books and materials from WBGU-PBS.

Enjoy a preview performance of ‘Matilda the Musical’

Enjoy a special preview performance of “Matilda the Musical” from the cast of Horizon Youth Theatre. This preview performance will be held in the library Atrium on May 31 at 10:30 a.m.

This exclusive preview of Horizon Youth Theatre’s summer show will have performers share 20 to 30 minutes of this classic novel turned hit musical.

Looking to learn more about your computer? Join the Wood County District Public Library for Computer Basics.

Classes are held on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. in Meeting Room C at the Bowling Green library.
