BG woman wanted on warrants arrested for domestic violence

On Monday, around 11:55 p.m., Bowling Green police responded to the 1040 block of Fairview Avenue for a report of domestic violence in progress.

According to the Bowling Green Police Division report, when officers arrived, they heard loud screaming and crying coming from an upstairs window. Officers kicked in the door to the apartment.

Once inside, officers went upstairs to the bedroom and spoke to the two residents there.

The female told police that she does not remember anything after getting into an argument and blacked out after getting punched, according to the report.

June Ragland, 35, Bowling Green, was arrested for domestic violence and was taken to jail. Ragland was also arrested on active warrants through the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office and Michigan State Patrol.
