On Wednesday around 8:58 p.m., Bowling Green police responded to the 530 block of West Gypsy Lane Road in reference to a suspicious incident.
According to the Bowling Green Police Division report, a male juvenile was heard making a comment about a shooting possibly happening at the high school.
The parent told officers that their child overheard another juvenile talking about shooting up the school.
The juvenile was identified as a 17-year-old from Bowling Green.
According to the police report. the male was overheard talking to another student about not being able to wear a trench coat because he would look like a school shooter.
The 17-year-old was then heard making a comment along the lines of “what if I actually did it?” or something similar, according to the report.
Officers then spoke with to the teen. No charges were filed.
