Senior center offers events, lunch and dinner

The following events will take place next week at the Wood County Senior Center.

MEALS

Lunch: Monday, mac and cheese with ham or Tuscan chicken; Tuesday, chicken salad on a bed of lettuce or chef salad with ham, cheese & eggs; Wednesday, beef lasagna; Thursday, stuffed green pepper soup or white chicken chili; Friday, turkey or liver and onions

Dinner: Tuesday, hamloaf; Wednesday, roast pork; Thursday, chicken salad crossiant

*Dinner reservations must be made by 2 p.m. the day you wish to attend.

No person over 60 shall be denied nutrition services because of failure to contribute all or part of the cost. Participants shall determine for themselves what they are able to contribute. A $2 suggested donation is appreciated for home delivered meals. All payments can be mailed to: Wood County Senior Center, 140 S. Grove Street, Bowling Green, OH 43402.

Celebrate Older Americans Month with us on May 20 from 2 to 3:15 p.m. at the Wooster Green Gazebo, 100 S. Church St. Bring a lawn chair to enjoy musical entertainment by “The John Pickle Show” and an awards ceremony honoring active aging recipients from all senior center communities. The event is sponsored by The Willows of Bowling Green.
