Weston school alumni halt reunions

WESTON — The Weston alumni banquet, annually held in May, will not be held this year. The 2023 banquet was attended by the committee of three members and just a few additional persons. The committee decided that renting the banquet hall and paying for the preparation of a meal was not a reasonable expense. The youngest members are now 84 and 85.

The committee also decided that the money remaining in the treasury would be donated to the Weston Library.
