Meet bestselling Author Elle Cosimano

Join the Wood County District Public Library to meet bestselling author Elle Cosimano on May 15 at 7 p.m. in the Bowling Green library Atrium. Cosimano will be talking about her work as an author and her bestselling Finlay Donovan series. A Q&A and book signing will follow.

Cosimano is a New York Times bestselling author, an International Thriller Award winner, a Bram Stoker Award finalist and an Edgar Award nominee. Her acclaimed young adult novels include Nearly Gone, Holding Smoke, The Suffering Tree and Seasons of the Storm. Her first debut novel for adults, Finlay Donovan Is Killing It, kicked off a witty, fast-paced contemporary mystery series, which was a People Magazine Pick and was named one of the New York Public Library’s Best Books of 2021. In addition to writing novels for teens and adults, her essays have appeared in The Huffington Post and Time Magazine.

Meet author Anya Light

Join the Wood County District Public Library to meet local author Anya Light on May 11 at 2 p.m. in Meeting Room C. Light will be discussing her latest book, “The Peace of Reiki: Practices for Co-Creating New Earth.”

The Peace of Reiki is a spiritual guidebook for those who have an interest in holistic healing through the Japanese practice of Reiki (a form of meditation).

Enjoy a graphic novel book discussion

Students aged 5-11 and up are invited to a book discussion about some favorite early reader graphic novels at the Wood County District Public Library. Discussions are Mondays at 6p.m. in The Children’s Place.

Copies of the graphic novel for each month are available for checkout from the Bowling Green Library Children’s Desk. Families are invited to read the book and come to discuss these and other graphic favorites.
