The Shakespeare Round Table’s annual spring banquet, celebrating the end of the group’s 118th year of studying the works of William Shakespeare, was held April 17, at the Bowling Green Country Club. President Helene Weinberger welcomed the group’s 19 members and their guests to the evening’s celebration. Weinberger also extended special welcomes to new members Chelsea Cloeter and Dana Nemeth, and to associate members Margaret Weinberger and Dinah Vincent and her husband, Robert.

President Weinberger thanked the group’s current officers Vice President Patti Rish, Treasurer Kathy East, and Secretary Mary Callahan Boone for their service to the group. She also recognized next year’s incoming officers: President Patti Rish, Vice President Mary Callahan Boone, Secretary Michele Raine, and Treasurer Dianne Klein.

The banquet committee, led by Diane Vogtsberger included Peg Baker, Judy Boutelle, Laura Keller, and Dianne Klein. They selected a menu of garden salad with dressings, oven-roasted turkey break, pork roast, vegetable lasagna, broccoli and cauliflower, mashed potatoes, and a fruit pie and cobbler assortment for dessert.

Following dinner, the group enjoyed the music of Joe and Nate Baker.
