On Saturday around 11:40 p.m., Bowling Green police were dispatched to the 140 block of North Main Street in Bowling Green for an intoxicated female.

Audrey Peterson, 20, Vermillion, was arrested for obstructing official business, resisting arrest, and underage alcohol consumption. Peterson was taken to jail.

When officers tried to speak to Peterson, she attempted to walk in the opposite direction, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

Peterson fell into the street when police attempted to grab her arm. When placed into handcuffs, she continued to pull away, according to the report.

Peterson repeatedly dropped to her knees and refused to cooperate. Officers carried Peterson out of the street.

After several more attempts to pull away from police, Peterson was taken to the hospital to get medically cleared before being transported to jail.
