Rodney A. Baldwin, 60, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Tuesday April 16, 2024.
He was born on December 3, 1963, to Morris Baldwin and Phyllis (Longstreet) Johnston. He married Lori Himburg on September 17, 1983.
Rodney was a graduate of Otsego High School and with a diploma from Penta in auto mechanics, class of 1982. He worked as a forklift operator and a backup shipping supervisor for LyondellBasell since 1987. Rodney enjoyed attending and watching NASCAR, Chicago Bears and the Detroit Tigers. He loved listening to classic rock. Sammy Hagar played often around the house! He enjoyed quizzing friends and family on music trivia, the outdoors, traveling and bowling. Above all he cherished the time he got to spend with his family. He will be greatly missed.
Along with his wife Lori, Rodney is survived by his father Morrie and stepmother Joann, stepfather Dale Johnson, children Shane Baldwin of Oregon, Ohio, Brandi (Kevin) Baldwin of Toledo, Ohio, brothers Randy Baldwin of Pemberville, Ohio, Rick (Mary) Baldwin of Neapolis, Ohio, grandchildren Cherish, Caeleigh, Julien, Jace, Alexa and Hunter.
He is preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Johnson and son Brandon Baldwin.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Hospital or Miracle Network.
A visitation for Rodney will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 18620 Washington St. Tontogany, Ohio 43565. A celebration of life service will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Eric Reza will officiate.
