Shirley J. Hutchison, 87, of North Baltimore, died at 2:22 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born on December 18, 1936, in Henry Township to the late Otto and Mary (Chapman) Zeltner.
Shirley is survived by her daughters: Patricia (Bob) Hurst of North Baltimore, Julie Gould of Bowling Green, and Lu Ann (Fred) Welch of North Baltimore; grandchildren: Ryan Brumbaugh, Bill Brumbaugh, Christina Ross, Brandy Miles and Eric Gould; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; and her dog, Shorty.
She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Hutchison; and her siblings: Maxine Rehus, Dorothea Steiff, Bill Zeltner, Kenny Zeltner, Charles Zeltner, Merlin Zeltner and Don Zeltner; grandchildren: Randy Miles, Christopher Hutchison and Reva Brumbaugh.
Shirley retired from Equity Meats in North Baltimore. She was a member of the North Baltimore American Legion Post 539, Fraternal Order of Eagles #2633, and Moose Lodge #698.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore. Pastor Bill Cook officiating. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2024 at Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore.
