Sandra Kay Vollmar, 70, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
She was born on August 25, 1953, to Ken Giese and the late Nancy Green in Toledo, Ohio. She married Richard Vollmar on April 25, 1987, and he survives in Grand Rapids, Ohio.
Sandy worked as a school administrator for Toledo public schools. She was known for her attention to detail and organizational skills. She enjoyed ballet, line dancing, babysitting and getting her hair, makeup and nails done. She loved children, dogs, collecting mice figurines and spending time with her family. She will be missed dearly by all.
Along with her loving husband Rick, Sandy is survived by her father Ken Giese, children Jason Seigel of Toledo, Ohio, Wesley (Anna) Vollmar of Findlay, Ohio, brother Robin (Pam) Giese of North Carolina, sister Kelly (Fred) Boehm of Toledo, Ohio and grandchild Wyatt Vollmar.
She is preceded in death by her mother Nancy Green and sister Jacque.
Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
A visitation for Sandy will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home located at 7220 Dutch Road Waterville, Ohio 43566. A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Tim Miller will officiate.
