The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department is inviting the community to participate in a series of monthly Wildflower Walks at the Wintergarden/St. John’s Nature Preserve. These guided walks are scheduled for Thursdays at 10 a.m. on April 18, May 16, June 20, July 18, and Aug. 15,
As the seasons change, so does the floral landscape of the Wintergarden/St. John’s Nature Preserve. Participants will have the unique opportunity to witness the beauty and variety of wildflowers that bloom throughout the growing season. These educational hikes are designed to last up to an hour and a half, offering a perfect opportunity to engage with nature, learn about local flora, and enjoy the great outdoors.
No pre-registration is required for these events. To ensure the best experience, participants are advised to wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes suitable for walking on nature trails.
