Elementary opens ‘snack shack’ in memory of PTO president

PERRYSBURG — The Woodland Elementary Parents’ Club has launched “Nicky’s Snack Shack” in memory of Nicole Hancock, Woodland Parent Club president in 2021-22 who passed away last summer.

The goal is to have snacks available for any student who needs one.

Hancock was a health and nutrition coordinator at Toledo Public Schools, and her family, friends and colleagues thought this would be a meaningful way to remember her.
