On Monday around 9:02 p.m., Bowling Green police responded to the 100 block of North Main Street on a report of disorderly conduct.

Jordan Flowers, 28, Toledo, was arrested for obstructing official business and disorderly conduct.

The caller informed dispatch that a male was in the restaurant being “belligerent” and yelling while using their phone, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

Flowers had lost his phone and the restaurant allowed him to use their phone, according to the report.

Police were told Flowers made multiple calls and became aggressive and loud to the point that the caller felt that Flowers needed to leave. Flowers had been yelling and banging his fists on the table which alarmed the caller and the staff, according to the report.

Even after multiple request, Flowers, who was hard to understand and was slurring some of his words, refused to give his name and stated that he did not have to give his name and that he knew his rights.

Flowers was taken to jail, where he was very uncooperative with jail staff to the point that he was believed to potentially strike staff members, according to the report.
