The Wood County Committee on Aging is hosting Friday movies at 1 p.m.
This Friday, “The Pleasure of His Company” (1961) (Comedy) stars Fred Astaire, Lilli Palmer and Debbie Reynolds.
“The Second Time Around” (1961) (Comedy/Romance) with Debbie Reynolds, Steve Forest and Andy Griffith will be shown on April 19.
“My Six Loves” (1963) (Comedy) with Debbie Reynolds, Cliff Robertson and David Janssen will be shown on April 26.
The senior center also has started “Thursday Theater,” where guests can view and discuss entertaining movies on Thursdays at 1 p.m. Movies will be from the 1930s until today, from many genres, including adventure, family, romance, musicals, comedy, biographies, true stories, Christmas, concerts, and shorts. Hosted by Kris Eridon.
“Apollo 13 Imax” (1995) with Tom Hanks and Ed Harris will be shown tomorrow.
“You Can’t Take it With You” (1938) with Jean Arthur and James Stewart will be shown April 18.
“As Luck Would Have It” (2021) with Joanna Garcia Swisher and Allen Leech will be shown April 25.
