On March 30, Bowling Green police responded to a call at the 300 block of Parkview Drive regarding threats made to the complainant’s teenage daughter.

A 13-year-old male was arrested and transported to the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center after officers determined the text messages were serious.

According to the Bowling Green Police Division report, the daughter received text messages from the male stating he was going to take a knife to school and harm her.

The complainant stated that the daughter and male have known each other for a long time.
