BG man arrested for fighting

A Bowling Green man was arrested early Friday morning after being involved in a fight.

According to the Bowling Green Police Division report, officers were called to Wood County Hospital around 5:51 a.m. for a report of an assault.

After speaking with the alleged victim, officers were informed that the incident took place at the 100 block of East Wooster Street.

The fight involved Jonathon Bryant, 23, and an unknown man, according to the police report.

The alleged victim explained that as he attempted to break up a fight that was occurring in the hallway, he was pushed, causing him to hit his head on the mail box. Bryant was then allegedly punched the man multiple times in the facial area. After being transported to the hospital, it was determined the victim had a concussion.

Bryant was arrested for disorderly conduct/fighting and obstructing official business and was cited for assault. He was taken to jail.
