Mary “Tina” Wagner (nee Buck), formerly of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away on October 20, 2023, after battling cancer.

Tina was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 5, 1950, to her parents Patricia (Sweeney) Buck and Charles E. Buck.

She graduated from Kent State University in 1972 with a B.A. and later earned an M.A. at BGSU.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Wagner, daughter, Lauren (Gary) Hagerman, two grandchildren, Alex and Audrey Hagerman, her brother Charles (Margaret) Buck, and her sister Margaret “Maggie” (John) Buck-Sigler.

Tina loved the library as a child and became a lifelong avid reader. She was an English teacher for over thirty years, teaching at Canton Central Catholic High School, Medina Highland High School and Napoleon High School. She finished her career at PENTA Career Center where she did career-based intervention before retiring in 2007.

A memorial gathering will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Brandywine Country Club, 6904 Salisbury Road, Maumee, OH 43537.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home located in the Historical District of Bowling Green, Ohio at 408 W. Wooster St.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Northwest Ohio Hospice and St. Jude’s Hospital for Kids.
