Sheriff’s office investigates 2 deaths

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two deaths that occurred in a Troy Township home.

According to a press release, Dorothy M. Daman, 86, and Dale F. Daman Jr., 57, were located in their residence in the 5000 block of Genoa Road on Friday. Both were deceased.

Deputies were requested to go to the address for a welfare check requested by concerned neighbors who had not seen the Damans for approximately two weeks.

Sheriff’s deputies and Troy Township Fire and EMS personnel were on scene for approximately three hours.

The Lucas County Coroner’s Office will perform autopsies later this week.
