CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced on Wednesday morning the men’s basketball awards for the 2023-24 season. Of those named, Bowling Green’s Marcus Hill and Rashaun Agee were both listed.
Hill was named All-MAC First Team and Agee earned All-MAC Second Team. Hill and Agee continue a streak of 23 consecutive seasons with at least one Falcon named to an All-MAC team at the conclusion of the season.
A junior from Rockford, Ill., Hill has been a prolific scorer for the Falcons this season, becoming not only one of the best scorers in the MAC, but in the country.
Hill’s 639 points this season have placed him fifth all-time in program history for points in a single season. Additionally, his total points are the most in the Mid-American Conference and rank 22nd in the nation.
The scoring total is due in large part to his nine consecutive 20-point games, the only player in the nation to do so. Hill also reached the Top 15 in the nation for both field goals attempted and made as well as Top 50 in the nation for free throws attempted and made.
A senior from Chicago, Ill., Agee has put himself among the best rebounders in the country this season. Agee’s 303 rebounds has earned him a spot in the program’s Top 10 for rebounds in a single season, currently in 10th entering the MAC Tournament.
His rebound total is second in the conference and 23rd in the country. Agee has been a force on the offensive boards, averaging a MAC-best 3.74 offensive rebounds per game, which also comes in at 12th in the nation.
This year, Agee has registered 16 double-doubles, tied for 11th in the nation, including becoming the first Falcon with five consecutive double-doubles since 2018-19.
