Marvin W. King, 88 of Findlay, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

He was born in Evans, West Virginia on December 10, 1935 to the late Cletus and Atha (Flowers) King. Marvin married Barbara Kay Feasel on July 9, 1956 and she survives along with two sons: David W. (Patricia) King of Bloomdale and Kirby King of Findlay.

He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Paula King of Columbus, brothers; Doyle (Lola) King of CA, Gerald King of Fostoria, sister, Sandra (Gary) Rhoades of Bloomdale, grandchildren; David W. (Danielle) King, Jr, Zachary David (Stacey) King, Sean (Elan) King, Shannon (Matt) Manzella, Shane (Ellen) King, Stephanie Cobb, Christopher (Mandy) King, Cody King, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Helen King and Shelba King.

Mr. King was preceded in death by his son, Kirk King, brothers; Cletus King, Jr, Larry King and Ralph King, sisters; Doris Barr and Donna (Gene) Wilcox and sister-in-law, Anna King.

Marvin was a 1955 graduate of Ripley High School in Ripley, West Virginia and served his county proudly in the U.S. Army. He worked for the Chrysler Corporation. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, pitching horseshoes and was a clock and watch enthusiast.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. at Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore.

A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Smith-Crates Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Weaver Cemetery, where full military rites will be conducted by the North Baltimore American Legion Post #539.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Marvin to the North Baltimore American Legion Post 539.
