The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and K. Hovnanian Homes will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of their new branch of business. This event is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Wednesday at 1724 Wexford Dr. in Bowling Green.

The ceremony will include statements from city representatives to congratulate owner Ara Hovnanian and associates on their new addition to the Bowling Green business community.

The homebuilding company recently erected a new model home at 1724 Wexford in Bowling Green, and they plan to build around 200 homes in the area. Though they build houses all over the nation, Andrew Kurek of K. Hovnanian states “we think BG is a great area to build homes because of the access to the highways, its proximity to Toledo and lots of large corporations within a 30-minute drive, and (BGSU). It’s just a great small town to build in.”

K. Hovnanian currently employs two sales associates but will be working with many local trades as they build out Bowling Green’s new housing developments.

Kurek believes that K. Hovnanian will be an asset to the BG community, stating “we have the credibility and dependability of a public corporation and the attention to detail and care of a family business. For over 60 years, we have realized that buying a home is one of the most important steps you can take in your life. We know that your home is the foundation of your family’s lifestyle, and we respect that philosophy by making sure your new home is everything you want it to be.”

The event is open to the public, with registration open at bgchamber.net/rsvp. Light refreshments will be served.
