PERRYSBURG — The Perrysburg Fire Division has listed the dates available for CPR, babysitting and basic life-saving skills classes for 2024. All classes are taught by a certified instructor from the Perrysburg Fire Division.
The AHA Heart Saver CPR and AED class will be offered on Feb. 28, May 15, Aug. 7, and Nov. 13 from 6-9 p.m. The class is $50 and participants will receive an AHA HS student workbook, AHA HS certification card, and a CPR face shield.
A babysitting class will be held on April 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The class is $40 and includes an AHA HS pediatric student workbook, CPR face shield, and class completion certificate.
New this year will be a Basic Life-Saving Skills class. There is no certification but three important first aid topics will be covered: Cardiac arrest, choking (airway management/foreign object removal) and life-threatening bleeding control. The class is $15 and will be offered on March 13, April 24, June 19, July 24, Sept. 18, Oct. 16, and Dec. 11 from 6-9 p.m.
