Chris James Lentz, age 70, of Bradner, Ohio passed away on Sunday (February 4, 2024) at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.
He was born on December 5, 1953, in Bowling Green, Ohio to Glenwood & Naomi (Bateson) Lentz.
Surviving is his mother, Naomi of Bradner, Ohio; son, Gunnar Lentz of Perrysburg, Ohio; daughter, Amanda Moore of Fenton, Michigan; brothers, Jeff (Julie Foster) Lentz of Bradner, Ohio, Steve (Debbie) Lentz of Bellevue, Ohio; sister, Ann Marie (Todd) Gabel of Fremont, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father Glenwood.
Chris was a 1972 graduate of Lakota High School. He was a Boilermaker in Toledo and a member of the Boilermaker’s union local. He was a member of the Rack & Cue Pool League and enjoyed traveling around to different pool tournaments in the area. He loved watching and attending Nascar and Sprint Car Races, and was a huge Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan.
Friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio.
A Graveside celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Bradner Cemetery with Fred Keith officiating.
A bereavement luncheon will be held at the Albert Bowe American Legion Hall immediately following the cemetery committal.
