The 2024 Election year is beginning. Ohio’s Primary Election this year will be held on March 19.
Check with the Board of Elections (BOE) to review your polling location and to make sure that your registration information is up to date. If you have moved since the last election, or if your name has changed, update your information with the BOE. Any changes must be received by that office by Tuesday, Feb. 20.
Early in-person voting begins on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at the Wood County Courthouse. As on Election Day, bring a current photo ID (your drivers license or state identification card) with you.
Applications for an Absentee Ballot are available on the Board of Elections webpage. Absentee Ballots must be postmarked before the day of the election, Tuesday, March 19, and must be received by the BOE office by Saturday, March 23.
