Nancy Alice Wikoff Leetch


Nancy Alice Wikoff Leetch, 89, of Bowling Green Ohio, passed away on February 5, 2024.

Nancy was born to Hazel Annetta Bidlack and Charles Henry Wikoff on April 11, 1934 in Muncie, Indiana. Nancy grew up in Columbus, Ohio. She received Bachelor of Science in Home Economics, Ohio State University, 1955 and Master of Arts in Painting, Bowling Green State University, 1986. Nancy was a Home Service Advisor, Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Company, Columbus; preschool head teacher, Columbus; artist, poet, Bowling Green, Ohio.

Nancy married J. Frederick Leetch II in 1958 in Columbus, Ohio. In 1961, they moved to Bowling Green, Ohio where they raised their family.

Nancy’s greatest joys were being a great-grandparent, being an artist and poet, and spending time at the family’s summer cottage at Sand Lake, Michigan. Nancy and Fred took part in many Elderhostel trips together. Nancy also enjoyed antiques, playing games, playing the piano, swimming and bird watching.

As an artist, Nancy traveled to England, France, Scotland, Mexico, California and Arizona using imagery from these locations in her paintings and sketches. She participated in arts festivals, one-woman shows, and won awards for her artwork at the Toledo Museum of Art and the Wood County Fair.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Fred. Nancy is survived by daughters Alice Annette Leetch (Brett Oberholzer), Cincinnati, and Elaine Marie Leetch Albright (Donald A. Baker Jr.), Bowling Green; grandchildren, Celia Leetch Oberholzer, Cincinnati; Daria Leetch Oberholzer, Glasgow, Scotland; Jacob Allen Albright (Tabitha Lynn Albright), Canton; Kacy Marie Albright Reyes (Ausin Reyes), Cleveland; and Jessie Lynn Albright, Lambertville; great-grandchildren, Levi Paul Albright, Avery Lynn Albright, and Hadley Mae Albright.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Bowling Green Country Club, 923 Fairview Ave., Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.

Memorials may be made to the Wood County Library, the Wood County Humane Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
