Dean-Scheele, Thompson lead BG past Clay, 37-28

Macyn Dean-Scheele scored 11 points and Lola Thompson added 10 as the Bowling Green girls basketball team defeated Clay, 37-28, in a Northern Lakes League Cardinal Division game Thursday.

BG improves to 5-15 overall and 3-6 in the NLL, while Clay drops to 5-15 and 2-6.

Anne Konecny scored eight points, Allie Fry scored three points, Megan Brinkman and Lizzie Amspoker scored two points apiece and Lila Vanneman added one point for the Bobcats.

For Clay, Kaelani Chanthakham scored nine points, Brynn Reiter scored eight points, Gianna Cuttaia scored four points, Ton Cousino scored three points, Halle Brenut contributed two points, and Emma Martin and Emilia Henneman-Dalape added one point apiece.
