Portage Lions hold McDonald’s fundraiser

The Portage LIons Club will be having a benefit night at McDonalds, 1050 S. Main St., on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.

All earning from this event will be used towards service projects. The club will earn a portion of the sales from both the drive-thru and the dining room during the time period.

Some of the service projects the club participates in are pediatric cancer research, diabetes research, support for the local food pantry in Portage, the Wood County Historical Museum, Cherry Street Mission, and many others.

Lions Club International is one of the largest service organizations in the world.
