Peggy Lee (Comings) Babcock went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the age of 69.
Peggy was born July 30, 1954 to Eugene and Elizabeth Comings in Oberlin, Ohio. She married Floyd Babcock on October 10, 1991. Peggy lived in several states prior to returning home to Ohio where she met Floyd and spent the remainder of her life.
Peggy’s children and grandchildren were her point of pride.
Over the past years Peggy was resident at the Columbus Healthcare Center where she enjoyed interacting with friends and playing bingo. She was comforted by regular visits from her youngest son Michel and special visits from her grandchildren Charity and Isaiah in Texas to whom she simply adored.
Peggy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Floyd Babcock, her parents, sisters and brother – Dorothy Koller, Barbara Klopfenstein, John Comings, and Mary Gibler.
Peggy is survived by her three children, Ryan Ernst, Michelle (Tomas) Alanis, and Michel Babcock along with her two grandchildren, Charity Alanis and Isaiah Alanis. She is also survived by her sister, Sandy Maidment, and brother, Bill Comings, and numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. with the memorial service commencing at 4:00 p.m.
Peggy will be buried with Floyd at Bethel Cemetery in Rudolph, Ohio with a brief ceremony on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 12:30 p.m.
