Benjamin Burton was the January Student of the Month at Bowling Green High School.

He is a senior and the son of Terry and Julie Burton.

Burton’s school honors and activities include membership in the National Honors Society and National French Honors Society. He is involved in high school French club where he has served as vice president and historian; quiz bowl where he has served as co-captain for two years and was awarded second team all-league; orchestra, and band. Ben has also received numerous awards through OFMC for piano.

Outside of school, he works at Studio Connections as a teachers assistant. He assists and teaches children to play songs and recognize rhythms. He has also worked for the Wood County Board of Elections as a poll worker.

Burton currently has a composite ACT score of 34 and a 4.27 grade point average.

After high school, he will either attend Bowling Green State University, Central Michigan, or Brown University to major in education.
