A Bowling Green man whose blood alcohol concentration was four times the legal limit was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was observed stumbling down the middle of Main Street.

At 1:52 this morning, a Bowling Green police officer saw a man, later identified as Brandon Stock, 24, stumbling as he walked his bike in the middle of North Main Street near East Oak Street.

Upon stopping Stock, the officer could smell a strong odor of alcohol, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

Stock was told to sit on the curb to ensure he didn’t fall down. He seemed confused by questions on how much he had had to drink. Stock slurred his words and had bloodshot eyes, according to the report.

He was unable to remember his address and told the officer he didn’t want anyone to pick him up.

He was taken to Wood County Hospital for medical clearance; testing showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.347.

He was arrested for disorderly conduct/unable to care for self and was taken to jail.
