Jac & Do’s Pizza holds ribbon cutting in BG

The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and Jac & Do’s Pizza announce a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of their new business. This event is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Feb. 1 at 318/322 N. Grove St.

The ceremony will include statements from city council member Jeff Dennis to congratulate owners Tyler Householder and Clay DeVelvis on their latest addition to the Bowling Green business community.

After a $150,000 renovation—with financial assistance from the city’s Revolving Loan Fund—Jac & Do’s Pizza is now located in the former Schwind Electric building at 318 N. Grove St., next door to Householder’s other business, Brewing Green.

He states “our vision when we bought Brewing Green was always to have Jac & Do’s onsite. Pizza and beer/wine go perfectly together. Plus, our pizza is different from any of the others in town—thin crust.”

Like their Findlay location, the BG Jac & Do’s will offer pizza, subs, salads, bread sticks, pretzels, and more for pickup or dine-in at Brewing Green, and they hope to add delivery services later this year.

“Our vision for Brewing Green and Jac & Do’s has just started. We want to develop the site into a place where families gather for not just a pint, but now dinner as well (and potentially lunch, down the road). We want to become a community hub, where people and groups can gather. Obviously adding Jac & Do’s is a huge step, and it will allow us to be more involved in things in the community,” says Householder.

The event is open to the public, with registration open at bgchamber.net/rsvp. Light refreshments will be served.
