Lucy Porter leads Panthers past Knights

MAUMEE — Maumee defeated Otsego, 45-26, in Northern Buckeye Conference girls basketball action on Tuesday.

For the Panthers, Lucy Porter scored 17 and Taylor Smith scored 11. Maumee improves to 8-5 overall and 5-3 in the NBC, while the Knights drop to 2-13 and they are winless in nine conference games.

For Otsego, Jocelyn Cornell scored 11, Sam Lehr scored seven points, Ryleigh O’Brien scored four points, Cailyn Lorenz scored two points, and Brooke Bergman and Savannah Villarreal scoerd one point each.

Skyler Janes and Megyn Caliopetro scored four apiece, Anna Zheng scored three points, and Autumn Gugger, Reign Hurt and Izzy Yaney added two points each for the Panthers.
