Safe Communities of Wood County coalition is holding a teen billboard contest in time for April’s Distracted Driving Awareness Month.

The contest is open to all Wood County teens and awards two students a $250 Amazon gift card for their winning design reflecting on the dangers of distracted driving.

Entries will be accepted until Feb. 14.

The design must be about distracted driving, not just texting, be 22.8 x 10.5 inches and be in .pdf format.

All contest participants who meet the entry requirements receive a $25 gift card.

Email [email protected] for an entry form.

Entries must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Feb. 14 to [email protected].

This billboard contest is to highlight the dangers of distracted driving during National Distracted Driving Month in April. Two roadside billboards have been donated by Lamar Advertising and the winning designs will be displayed during the month throughout Wood County.
