The Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Department has announced the return of its highly sought-after Parent’s Night Out program for Winter 2024. Designed to provide parents with a well-deserved break, the program offers an entertaining and supervised experience for children ages 5 to 12.

On select Friday nights in January, February, and March, parents can drop off their kids at the Bowling Green Community Center from 5-9 p.m. The evenings are packed with engaging activities, including games, arts and crafts, gym time, funny videos, and the popular Freedom Climber rotating climbing wall.

Given the program’s immense popularity since its introduction last year, registration is limited to the first 20 kids per session.

The scheduled dates for are as follows: Jan. 12, Jan. 26, Feb. 9, Feb. 23, March 8 and March 22.

Parents are reminded to ensure their children have had dinner before the program, and they are welcome to send snacks if needed, as no food or snacks will be provided at the event. The cost is $12 per resident child and $15 per non-resident child per session.

Registration is open at https://buff.ly/3HKAhaR, and given the past trend, interested parents are encouraged to secure their spots promptly. For inquiries or additional information, contact Ivan at 419-354-6223 or via email at [email protected].
