To the editor:
Shame on Trump and the MAGA Republicans for with-holding financial aid to Ukraine. If there was ever any more proof that Trump is Putin’s client king and the MAGA Republicans are Trump’s henchmen, this action removes all doubt.
Put Trump and the MAGA Republicans back into power and the USA will become Russia’s largest and greatest vassal state, without Putin losing one Russian soldier in the process. And then Putin will proceed apace. It’s what Hitler did and history repeats itself on a regular basis. Trump and the MAGA Republicans are doing what Hitler and the Nazis did 100 years ago, and you know where that led.
Trump lies to Americans on a regular basis and the amazing thing is that people fall for it over and over again.
I guess that some Americans are not using their thinking brains, but rather let their emotional brains rule. One can understand why this happened in Germany in the 1920s, because their economy was in tatters and it cost 10,000 marks to buy a loaf of bread. But here in the USA?? Our economy is great compared to virtually any other country in the world.
Had Trump won the 2020 election, we would have been in deep recession. And by the way when was America not great—maybe not perfect, but certainly great! Just because Trump said so?? And “Live free or die” is meaningless since a dictator Trump will rule America with an iron fist.
Remember what happened in Germany and the rest of Europe after Hitler began WWII. We can’t let this happen in the USA. Vote Trump and the MAGA Republicans out of office in 2024 before they take over Nazi-style.
Remember, Ukrainians are fighting and dying to stop Putin—American soldiers are not—not yet anyway. If Ukraine does not win now, we will have to fight the Russians in a few years and then a lot of Americans will die.
