The Wood County Veterans Service Office and the Wood County Committee on Aging are starting a woodworking group for the initial purpose of creating burial flag cases for survivors of Wood County veterans.
Wood County veterans are invited to create these cases.
The initial meetings to get the program started will be at the Wood County Committee on Aging, 140 S. Grove St., on Tuesday and/or Dec. 19 at 6 p.m.
Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
Anyone with any woodworking skills or interest in learning new skills is invited to attend.
If there is interest in woodcarving, the plan is to have a monthly get together.
