Waunetta worked at RCA/Harris in Findlay for nearly 30 years until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran in Bradner, Ohio. She loved camping, having both a permanent camper campsite and later, camping in her RV around Ohio.

One of her biggest hobbies was crocheting. She created many blankets, hats, gloves, and scarves for all her family over the years. Waunetta enjoyed watching the birds at her multiple birdfeeders all around her yard. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family.
