TOLEDO —Central Catholic High School presents its annual Sounds of Christmas holiday show on Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. at the Valentine Theatre, 410 Adams St. in downtown Toledo.

This festive show features performances by the Central Catholic Glee Club, Mixed Chorus, Gospel Choir, String Orchestra, Concert Band, Irish Dance Team (IDT), and the Alumni Glee Club.

“The students have been receiving outside instruction from professional musicians from the Toledo Symphony Orchestra,” said CCHS band director Evan Murral. “They’ve been practicing hard and are looking forward to sharing their talents with you.”

“Sounds of Christmas is a very special tradition at Central Catholic that brings friends and family together to share festive spirit with performances in honor of the holiday season,” said senior Jackson Stricker, who is a member of the Glee Club. “I love being able to join my friends and fellow singers on stage to perform meaningfully chosen carols, worth several months of preparation. Every student in the Central Catholic Glee Club has a special voice to contribute and brings the music to life for our Irish family. To be able to perform widely known Christmas songs as choral pieces is a special experience, and one that we hope everyone is able to join us for.”

Tickets are on sale for Sounds of Christmas now. Call the Valentine Theatre box office at 419-242-2787 or visit the Valentine box office 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
