Gold Star Families dedicate memorial monument

PERRYSBURG — The Gold Star Families Memorial Monument at Perrysburg’s Riverside Park has been completed. The memorial paver stones of various sizes are now in place around the walkway. The granite podium bearing a plaque defining the monument’s reason and message is also in place.

The dedication ceremony, which is open to the public, will be held on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. Parking is available on Cherry Street, Walnut Street, and West Second Street or Hood Park.

Hot chocolate and cookies will be on hand.
