The teen who allegedly initiated the incident told officers that another resident had been calling him names and labeling him as “sweet,” according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

Video from the residential center showed the aggressor struck the other resident six times to the head and face with a closed fist and then kicked him three times after he fell to the ground. He then struck the teen three more times on the face and kicked him four more times.

The other resident received two stitches for a cut to his jaw.
