The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Foundation and ACT*BG have finalized the schedule of events for Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28.

The fifth Annual Giving Tuesday for the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Foundation will kick off with a remote broadcast of The Morning Show with Clint Corpe on 88.1 FM WBGU from 6-9 a.m. at Biggby Coffee at 215 E. Wooster St. The broadcast will lend a voice to the BGCCF and nine other charitable organizations in the Bowling Green area to build new awareness and support for these amazing organizations in our community.

Confirmed guests include Kathy Mull of The Cocoon, Dani Beamer of Work Leads to Independence, Rachael London of Christmas Dreams, Crissy Walton of the Wood County Hospital Foundation, Mark Ohashi of Habitat for Humanity, Ryan Davis and D. Nick Peiffer of ACT*BG, Kati Thompson of the Bowling Green Community Foundation, Kristen Otley of the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Foundation and Joe Edens of the Bowling Green City Schools Foundation.

Also joining the show will be Giving Tuesday sponsors Gary Dible of Biggby Coffee and Mark Cassin of State Bank, as well as BGCCF President Darleen Petkwitz and BGCCF supporters Chris and Belinda Bates of Bates Recycling.

Half of the day’s sales at both Bowling Green Biggby locations, including sales from the menu and merchandise, will be donated to the BGCCF.

At 4 p.m., the giving fun will continue at Brookdale Senior Living’s Bowling Green Campus at 121 Wintergarden Road for the ACT*BG annual Wreath Silent Auction in benefit of Thayer Family Dealership’s Christmas Dreams Program, Brown Bag Food Project, and The Cocoon.

There will be a large selection of holiday wreaths for silent auction bidders to win, as well as a social atmosphere with food, adult beverages and holiday music. The State Bank GIVES Truck will also be at Brookdale for the Wreath Silent Auction accepting donations for Sue Shank cookies in benefit of the chamber foundation community events. All donations to the GIVES Truck will be matched by State Bank. The Wreath Auction will run to 6:30 p.m., while the GIVES Truck will be on site until 7 p.m. while supplies last.

Throughout the day, financial donations up to $1,000 will be matched by Darlene Petkwitz, the matching funds sponsor.
